The Battle of the Bridge is fast approaching, and Bowls Auckland is thrilled to announce the Men’s and Women’s Premier and Development squads that will proudly represent Auckland as they take on their North Harbour counterparts on 1 December.

Head Selector Alison Rennie expressed her excitement about the selections, saying, “Our selectors are eager to see these players in action. Some experienced players were unavailable for this fixture, which gave us the chance to explore new combinations in both squads. We’re confident they’ll rise to the challenge.”

Alison added, “With all three squads playing at one venue, it only adds to the excitement and anticipation! We’ll be able to support and cheer each other on.”

While the rivalry is deeply rooted, the Battle of the Bridge is ultimately a celebration of sportsmanship and camaraderie between two competitive yet friendly sides.
