Bowls Auckland is pleased to welcome Leah Chan to the team as Club Partner – Engagement.
CEO Dean Bartlett said, “Leah comes to us with extensive knowledge in the community sports landscape with nearly 10 years of experience both from a regional and national level.
In an earlier role, she led their School Engagement program that connected with over 40,000 tamariki and rangatahi. In her most recent role at Athletics NZ, Leah led the adoption of their new online membership platform.
She will actively liaise with schools and will assist clubs in connecting and welcoming new communities.”
Leah told us, “While studying for a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation at AUT, I found my passion for community sport and how powerful the impact of connecting through sport can be to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
My earlier roles in other sports, both regional and national bodies, have helped me gain an understanding of how other sporting codes operate.”
Leah starts her new role on Monday, 24 July 2023, and is very keen on becoming part of the bowling community.
