The Avondale Fund Committee is thrilled to announce that applications for the newly established Avondale Fund are officially open. This means the 10 eligible clubs can now tap into this invaluable resource.
But fear not if your club isn’t on the list! The Rawhiti Fund continues to operate alongside the Avondale Fund, ensuring all clubs can access funding – directly from Bowls Auckland or via Blue Waters Community Trust.
Led by a dedicated committee including Graeme Bennett, Marion Hakaraia, and Karl Andersen, the Avondale Fund offers three distinct funding categories. Eligible clubs can apply for financial support for projects like covered greens, facility enhancements, and/or club development.
Dean Bartlett, CEO of Bowls Auckland, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We’re excited to support projects that make a lasting impact on our community, utilising the funds from the sale of the Avondale Bowling Club. Beyond grants, we’re committed to collaborating with the Committee to hounour the club’s legacy and to ensure its past members are not forgotten.”
Don’t miss this chance to propel your club forward! Clubs can now apply and be part of a legacy that will not be forgotten.
