The second ‘Open’ tournament of the season, the Jarden Open Mixed Pairs, is just around the corner (27 to 29 December). Nestled between Christmas and the upcoming Summerset Nationals, this event is set to be a festival of bowls, offering players the perfect mix of holiday fun and competition.

This year’s Open will see an exciting boost to become bigger and better with the prize pool more than doubled to an impressive $5,500, including $1,500 for the winning Pair! The tournament will return to a three-day format, starting with two days of qualifying rounds followed by the final post-section day. The cap is set at 128 teams, so entries will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
