Finals fever at Royal Oak
24 April 2025

This weekend, all eyes are on Royal Oak Bowling Club as the season builds to its spectacular climax—Finals Weekend.

We’ve been watching the forecast intently all week, hoping for a thrilling outdoor showdown. After a late Thursday update, the decision was made to move to a covered green to ensure the event’s completion.

Powerhouse matchups, rising stars, and club pride are all on the line—it’s shaping up to be a spectacular weekend of bowls.

There’s plenty of buzz around the Centre Singles events. Matt Berry (Pringle Park), riding the momentum of his national success, is eyeing a Centre title to complete a season sweep. Meanwhile, Henrietta Scott (Carlton Cornwall) looks to finish her junior years in style, taking on seasoned campaigner Lisa Prideaux (Auckland BC) in what promises to be a classic final.
