And that’s a wrap for the weekend. Well done everyone in some tricky conditions (for the men anyway!). A huge congratulations to everyone who has made it through to the semi-finals. Unfortunately, it is a bit of a wait until the Finals Weekend (27-28 March 2021) but it means plenty of time to practise!

The quarter-finals for both the men and the women have just got underway. Even though there is still a bit of rain hanging around at Pt Chevalier, the men have opted to stay put. Meanwhile, the women are grateful that they’re staying dry 🙂
This is the last round for today. The semi-finals and finals will be played on the Auckland Bowls Finals Weekend on the 27-28 March 2021.

After a beautiful day yesterday, this morning we were reminded that we live in Auckland. The 32 men’s teams got off to a bit of a wet start at Pt Chevalier but they have managed to complete the first round. The sun is threatening to come out as they start their second.
A decision was made to transfer the women to the indoor complex at Remuera and their first round started, as scheduled, at 11.45a.m.
